Kelsick Specialty Market is pleased to announce it recently donated $400 to the Gloucester Library Endowment Funds as part of its KICK BACK Program in support of community charities. The gift is designated for the Montague Haskell Fund.
The KICK BACK program launched earlier this year as part of the market’s 25th anniversary celebration. Each month, through the fall of 2017, a Gloucester charity has been selected to receive a portion of sales from the market.
The Gloucester Library Endowment Funds are part of the Gloucester Community Foundation, an affiliate of The Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia. Currently, the library endowment funds consist of four funds for various purposes: Gloucester Library Endowment Fund, a general endowment to support expansion and improvement of collections and information systems; Fred Lee and Martha F. Brown Fund to support materials on genealogy and local Gloucester history; Montague W. Haskell Fund to support Library Employee Staff Development; Margaret Blair Spalding Morgan Fund to support purchase of children’s books.
Pictured here are Beth Haskell, owner of Kelsick Specialty Market presenting the gift to Anne Marshall and Wrenn Kibler, members of the Advisory Board of the Gloucester Library Endowment Funds. Also pictured are Mrs. Kibler’s children, Bray and Rose, enthusiastic users of the library.
In addition, Kelsick Specialty Market has underwritten a brochure for the Gloucester Library Endowment Funds, which is available at the library.
