Kelsick Specialty Market Donates to Gloucester Housing Partnership

“It is because of the support of this community that we are able to help so many people throughout Gloucester, helping provide home repairs to those who cannot afford it to help keep them warm, safe and dry. Thank you, Kelsick Specialty Market, for selecting the Gloucester Housing Partnership, Inc as one of your charities of choice this year!”

That’s what the Gloucester Housing Partnership told its supporters last month after we were able to donate $200 to the organization because of YOU!

The Gloucester Housing Partnership was one of 12 charities that you, our customers, voted to support this year through a portion of sales at the market.

Want to know more about the Gloucester Housing Partnership? We can tell you that they are always in need of volunteers to work on job sites, and these days are getting more requests for assistance from homeowners than they have funds available to support.

Their mission? Make homes “warm, safe, dry, and accessible” for Gloucester County homeowners who are elderly, disabled, or of low-income — at no cost to the homeowner.

They receive referrals from the Gloucester County Department of Social Services, Healthy Families, Bay Aging, other community organizations, and from citizens of the County who are simply concerned about their neighbors.
