Helping victims of domestic violence by providing emergency shelter, crisis intervention, advocacy programs and so much more. That’s what the Laurel Shelter, now Avalon, in our great community is committed to and it’s why we were delighted to support them this past August month with our Kelsick KICK BACK Program (our give back program each month in honor of our 25th Anniversary this year)!
This week, we presented Avalon, formerly the Laurel Shelter, with a $400 donation to fuel their mission.

WHAT IS THE KICK BACK PROGRAM?
Each month, through the fall of 2017, we have selected organizations in our community to support through our sales. In April we teamed up with The Samaritan Group, Inc. In May we partnered with the Gloucester-Mathews Human Society, in June we worked with the Gloucester-Mathews Care Clinic, July was earmarked for the Gloucester Library, September for the Botetourt Elementary School PTA and October for VersAbility’s Puller Center.
