Dos Minas – Torrentes
“Two chicks” in Argentine slang. Torrontes wines range in style from light and fresh to heady and intensely perfumed, often expressing spicy, soapy characters and aromas of white flowers.
499 – Enigma Bianco
The company is named for the altitude in meters of their best moscato vineyard. They produce a mere 6000 bottles in a small cantina near the hamlet of Camo. Proof that moscato can make extraordinary dry wines in the Langhe.
Albino Rocca – Moscato d’Asti
Straw yellow in color, this light Moscato opens on fresh fruity notes of pear and lemon. The flavours are confirmed on the palate with beautiful sweet white peachy notes. Food pairing: Panettone, fresh fruit, or as a great after dinner finishing touch.
Dry Canyon – Zinfandel
Earthy, fruity nose. Full bodied, smooth tannins with lots of dark berries and plums, juicy but not quite jammy. Quite enjoyable.
Ridge Crest – Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark cherry and blue fruits with herbal tones abounding on the nose. The fruit harmonizes with balanced acidity and soft tannin structure. The aftertaste is fresh and lingering.
Dos Minas – Malbec
Earthy on the nose with dark ripe plums and violets. On the palate some of the same fruit flavors as well as a slightly peppery note. Ideal beef wine but can also go with a lighter dish that call out for a ripe fruit wine.
